JOB DESCRIPTION

• Should be able to assist with invoices • Should be able to prepare bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax filings (HST, WSIB, T4, installments) • Accounts Receivable: Post payments, run A/R report, contact customers that are past due • Accounts Payable: Post invoices, reconcile with POs, issue cheques • Payroll: Prepare payroll hours, run payroll thru provider, prepare T4 & T5, review payroll provider reports and audit for any discrepancies, maintain employee vacation logs • Communicate with clients inquiring with accounting related issued, responding to questions, concerns, and requests • Prepare year-end packages for external accountants, i.e. preparing a trial balance, adjusting entries, reconciling accounts • Person applying should have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, word, excel), and QuickBooks. • Filing • Should be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel • Should have at least 5-6 years of experience • Should be able to work under minimize supervision • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions • Strong time management and organizational skills • Should be a fast learner with all given tasks
